Every day, some or other bizarre news leaves people shocked and baffled. Recently, a famous TV presenter left everyone surprised after he decided to study witchcraft. The former host of One Show shared that he is reading a book on “dark arts” and how he got attracted to these things.
Adrian Chiles was a former host of shows like One Show Daybreak and Match of the Day 2. The TV personality has recently announced that he is studying witchcraft. He had become an anti-witch after watching The Wizard of Oz. Now, he has expressed his wish to buy crystals after he saw a store in the West Midlands that specialised in witchy supplies. He is convinced that witches are a force of good, despite being scared of them in the past.
In the column for The Guardian, he claimed to have seen a “strange thing on the way to Cradley Heath”. He was driving his mother’s car to a garage for a service and passed a shop for witches which read, “Witchy Supplies”. Upon seeing the signboard, he “did a double take” and was thankful that no one was in front of him or he would have driven into them.
Later, when he brought this up with his friends who live and work in that area “looked at him funny” and were surprised to hear about a “witches supply shop”. He wondered if he dreamed this up. But when he went to collect the car from the garage, he chose the same route again just to check if the store was still there. He claims that it was and the store name read, “The Wicklow Witch. Candles, Crystals, Witchy Supplies.”
He bought a book called Basic Witches and he went inside the store to shop. He further made promises to teach the reader how they can “tap into their inner sorceress and channel dark arts”. The curiosity got the better of Adrian Chiles as he returned to the shop and came across the witch. He questioned her about the presence of other witches in the area. He was grateful to Juliet O’Brien (witch) for putting a proper perspective about witches who don’t always do bad things as they fear such behaviour will come back to haunt them.
He further commented, “Witches are a force only for good. I’ve been reading up on them in a book I bought from Juliet called ‘Basic Witches’ and I’m liking what I’m finding. I’m going back soon to pick up some crystals, seriously.”
