New Delhi: The Coolpad Max, which was unveiled to the world early this week, has finally come to India. Priced at Rs 24,999, the new Coolpad phone will be exclusively available on Amazon India from May 30.
The highlight of the phone is the Dual Space feature, which, the company says, will help users separate their personal and professional lives by allowing them to have two accounts on WhatsApp, Facebook, Line, BBM, and other social media applications.
According to the company, the Coolpad Max is aimed at those who want to keep their personal and professional lives separate, without the need to use two smartphones at once.
"To protect both personal and professional information, Coolpad has installed encryption technology that ensures any data, contacts, photos, videos, and applications stored on the smartphone can be well protected without worrying about data leakage," said the company.
Talking about the specs, the Coolpad Max Android 5.1 Lollipop with the company's CoolUI 8.0. It features a 5.5-inch full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 atop. At its heart is the 64-bit 1.5 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 617 chipset.
The variant of the Max that has come to India 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. The phone features a hybrid SIM slot, which means it can either be used for the second SIM or a microSD card.
On the camera front, the phone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front facing camera with f/2.2 aperture. Packed with a 2800mAh battery, the phone is claimed to last up to 17 hours of talk time. It also fast charging, which the company has can provide up to 3 hours of talk time on 5 minutes of charge.
It will come in Rose Gold and Royal Gold colours.
