Karnataka State Eligibility Test (SET) 2023: Examination Fees

The examination fee for KSET 2023 is Rs 1000 for General, Cat-IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB, and other State candidates. The application fee is Rs 700 for Cat-I, SC, ST, PWD, and Transgender candidates.

The KSET examination, initially scheduled for November 26, has been postponed. The revised date for the examination is now set for December 31. The examination will consist of two papers, both featuring only objective type Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs).

According to information provided on the official KSET website, successful candidates in the KSET are subject to the recruitment rules and regulations outlined for Lecturers and Assistant Professors in various Universities, Colleges, and Institutions, be they Government, Aided, or Private, throughout the state.

Potential candidates must note that those who have previously qualified in any specific subject through the KSET are restricted from reapplying for the same subject in subsequent exams. Should a candidate, previously deemed eligible in any past KSET examinations, intend to participate in the ongoing KSET test, their candidature will face cancellation, and the earlier eligibility will be nullified through the process of de-notification.

The KSET 2022 examination is slated to take place across 11 centres scattered throughout Karnataka. Aspiring candidates are encouraged to stay updated by regularly checking the official website of KEA for any further announcements and related details regarding the KSET 2023 examination.
