Pop sensation Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Miami commenced on October 18 and was on till October 20. During the second day of her concert at the Rock Hard Stadium, the 14-times Grammy winner took a moment to reveal her criteria for picking up the spots for the last leg of her tour. Speaking about the same, the singer mentioned that she wanted to end the tour with an audience that would scream lyrics to “every single song”. The pop star kicked off the historic tour in March 2023.
Explaining that her tour has been “all over the place”, Taylor Swift said, “We decided, if we’re going to end this tour, eventually it has to happen, we gotta pick the crowds and the cities and the places where the crowds are going to be passionate, enthusiastic, screaming the words to every single song, like the most fun crowds imaginable.”
“So, there was only one conclusion for how to kick off this last leg, and that is Miami, Florida,” the singer added. Her revelation came right before performing the famous studio album – Lover at the concert.
During the Miami show, the Blank Space singer also treated the audience to a surprise by inviting Florence Welch on stage. She called her collaborator to the stage to perform the song Florida together. It is from her last released album, The Tortured Poets Department. The duo’s on-stage collaboration proved their camaraderie and bond beyond their union for professional endeavours. One of the beautiful moments they shared on stage saw Welch holding Swift’s head and pulling her in for a hug, leaving fans’ hearts melting.
During her break between tours in several countries, Taylor Swift spent most of her time with her boyfriend Travis Kelce, attending his games and stepping out with him for romantic trips. While on their getaway to New York, the couple was spotted on various dinner outings. The lovebirds also got clicked during a double date with Hollywood couple Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively in NYC.
Post her Miami show, Taylor Swift will be performing in New Orleans, Indianapolis and later in Canada, wrapping the last leg of her Eras Tour in December. As for her last album, it was released on April 19. Titled The Tortured Poets Department, the album broke several records, with its songs claiming the top spots in chartbusters.
