The popular Tamil daily soap Baakiyalakshmi recently completed a remarkable run of 1,000 episodes. The show, featuring a talented cast including KS Suchitra Shetty, Sathish Kumar and Reshma Pasupuleti, is watched by almost every household on Tamil television. The serial telecasts on Vijay TV from Monday to Saturday from 8.30 to 9 pm. Besides its lead cast, the serial also features Kambam Meena as a housewife. Recently, in an unfortunate incident, the actress met with an accident the pictures of which are now viral on social media.
Kambam Meena, updating her fans about her accident, posted a few pictures in which it can be seen that the actress is severely injured. Lying with her fractured arm, Meena looks exhausted and in pain.

The pictures immediately prompted reactions from her fans who expressed concern for her health. One of her fans wrote, “Get well soon dear. Praying for your speedy recovery.” Another commented, “What happened to ur hand, get well soon.” “Ur Always acting super like u mam, get well soon come back soon bm can you reply,” added a third.
Baakiyalakshmi is inspired by the popular Bengali television series Sreemoyee. The lead cast of the serial is accompanied by an ensemble cast including Rajyalakshmi, Vikash Sampath, Velu Lakshmanan, Divya Ganesh, VJ Visha, and Rithika Tamil Selvi who nailed their roles, garnering everyone’s attention. Baakiyalakshmi is directed by Siva Sekar and I David.
The plot of the serial revolves around Baakiya who is a devoted wife, mother, and daughter-in-law. Despite this, her life takes a disheartening turn when her husband, Gopinath, becomes entangled in an affair when her husband indulges in a romantic relationship with his ex-fiancée Radhika, who is a single mother and raising her daughter on her own. It explores the dynamics between Gopi, Baakiya, and Radhika as they navigate the challenges of life. As the show completed 1,000 episodes recently, marking a remarkable achievement, it signifies the legacy of the show in the realm of daily soaps.
