South Actor Vadivelu's Heartwarming Pic With His Mother Has Internet's Attention
The actor’s mother, Vaitheswari, left for her heavenly abode in January 2023, when she was 87.

Vadivelu is considered one of the best comedians in the South industry, popular for his comic timing and infectious expressions. Coming from a humble background, Vadivelu gained popularity working with numerous big names in the South cinema. A resurfaced image of the actor with his late mother is making rounds on the internet, among the fans, where he is the doting son. Let us take a look.

Before making his official film debut, Vadivelu helped his father in his glass-cutting business. In his free time, he participated in local plays, where he was usually seen in comic roles. Currently, the actor is gaining attention for a wholesome photo, where he is seen with his mother. The photo shows the man embracing his mother Vaitheswari, from the side, as both look on at the camera. Vadivelu sports a smile of glee, like a small child, while being with his beloved mother. The following image captures the mother-son duo standing side by side, the actor placing a supportive hand on her shoulder.

Unfortunately, the actor’s mother left for her heavenly abode in January last year, at the age of 87. As per the reports, she succumbed to her age-related issues.

Vadivelu came back to the silver screen with the 2023 film Maamannan, after a temporary ban from the industry. Dubbed as a political drama, Maamannan is helmed by Mari Selvaraj, who is also its writer. The cast includes names like Fahadh Faasil, Udhayanidhi Stalin, Vadivelu and Keerthy Suresh. It is produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin under the banner of Red Giant Films. The music in the film is handled by A R Rahman and the cinematographer is Theni Eswar while the editing is done by Selva R K.

Last year, he was also seen in the P Vasu directorial, Chandramukhi 2. The film had Kangana Ranaut, Raghava Lawrence and Lakshmi Menon as the leads. Subaskaran Allirajah produced it under the banner of Lyca Productions.
