From sanitary pads to tampons, there are several products available for women. One of the products that may seem intimidating to many women is the menstrual cup.

This hygienic product is a small, flexible funnel-shaped cup made of rubber or silicone that can be inserted to collect period fluid. Cups can hold more blood than other methods, leading many women to use them as an eco-friendly alternative to tampons. Depending on your flow, you can wear a cup for up to 12 hours.

There are many apprehensions before one makes the switch to this menstrual product. But Gynecologist, Dr Tanaya is here to help us as she busts some myths.
