Minister urges CM not to intervene

HYDERABAD: Handlooms and textiles minister P Shankar Rao has urged chief minister N Kirankumar Reddy not to intervene in the police case slapped on minister Danam Nagendar who allegedly attacked Dalits at Addagutta here on Sunday.Shankar Rao sai d Nagendar attended a meeting at Addagutta where people cornered him on Telangaan and made democratic protests. Instead of responding to their demand, the minister and his followers attacked Dalits for questioning him, Shankar Rao alleged and released posters against Nagendar brought out by Telangana activists. Shankar Rao said he would visit Delhi very soon and meet Union home minister P Chidambaram to discuss several matters.
