New Delhi: 'Krrish 3' is inching closer to 'Chennai Express', which is the highest grossing Hindi film till date. Directed by Rakesh Roshan, 'Krrish 3' opened at a positive note and became the highest non-holiday opener in Bollywood.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh has tweeted about the film's collection, "It's a rocking Tuesday! #Krrish3 is on a record-smashing spree. Collects ₹ 26.26 cr. Total: ₹ 134.87 cr. AWESOME."
'Krrish 3' is also giving a tough competition to 'Chennai Express' in the overseas market. In UK, it has already become the second highest opener from Bollywood. It's doing well in the American market as well.
On an average, 'Krrish 3' is collecting around Rs 20 cr daily, which means it will reach the Rs 200 cr mark in next 4 days, but the business is likely to go down once the festive season is over, so it may take an extra day to touch the Rs 200 cr mark. With all the permutations and combinations in mind, one can speculate that 'Krrish 3' has good chances of crossing the Rs 200 crore line on the fifth day from here onwards, which will be the next Sunday.
Now, it's the time to wait and watch whether 'Krrish 3' lives up to the expectations or not.
