BANGALORE: After arriving at a consensus over distribution of equal number of ministers between the two warring groups in the state BJP, the leaders are now set to meet at Anugraha, the official residence of the Chief Minister, to hammer out the contentious issue of portfolios to be allocated.Party’s state in-charge, Dharmendra Pradhan, who arrived from New Delhi, went to the CM’s residence and joined other party leaders, including state party chief K S Eshwarappa, state organising secretary Santhosh and BJP national organising secretary Sathish. Earlier in the day, leaders of both factions participated in hectic parleys on the issue of joining the ministry and number of ministries to be distributed among the two groups. Speaking to the media before the meeting, Eshwarappa said that the impasse created over the ministry formation would be resolved by Sunday night.He said the issue of whether to have a deputy CM will also be discussed. The swearing-in-ceremony of the new ministers is likely to be held on Monday or Wednesday, Eshwarappa added.
