India, who failed to make it to the quarter-finals, meet Argentina for the 9th-12th position playoff.
After narrowly missing out on the quarter-finals place to Korea on goal difference in the Junior Men's Hockey World Cup, India met Argentina in the 9th-12th place playoffs at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in New Delhi on Wednesday.
India finished third in Pool C behind leaders Netherlands and Korea. Top two teams from each of the four pools qualified for the quarters.
Both India and Korea had three points from one win, one loss and one draw at the end of pool fixtures; however, Korea had a goal difference of +2 as opposed to India's zero.
