Find a phone number. If you need to contact the DMV by phone, almost every state’s DMV provides phone numbers online. Look for the Contact Us link on their website. You can also check the phonebook for the address and phone number for your local DMV office.
Send them an email. The Contact Us page for most DMV offices will either provide an email address at which you can contact them, or will provide an online form you can fill out to send them an email.
