Sharing the story of her Bollywood journey, Nargis shared that the film Rockstar helped her to gain popularity in the Indian entertainment industry. She confessed that everything started with just an e-mail. She said, “It all started with a random email that I decided to respond to, which ultimately led to my first big break in Bollywood.” Nargis further added that all that happened to her was absolute luck and she followed the path her destiny guided her.
The film Rockstar was re-released recently and attracted a massive audience response. While talking in the interview, she mentioned that Rockstar was the most important film of her career. She added that the role she portrayed in the film was the most challenging role, to date. Nargis shared that the film allowed her to nurture her talent. She said, “The role challenged me to push my limits as an actor and set a benchmark for the kind of roles I could take on in the future. The film received critical acclaim, and my performance was appreciated despite being my debut.” Talking about the re-release of the film, she said, “It’s amazing to see how the film continues to resonate with audiences years after its original release.”
