TN SSLC 10th Result 2024 Declared: 91.55% Pass; Ariyalur Emerges as Top Performing District

The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examination (TNDGE) announced the class 10 SSLC results today, May 9 at a press conference and the scorecards are now available on the official websites dge.tn.nic.in and tnresults.nic.in.The total pass percentage of the TN SSLC this year is 91.55 per cent, up from 91.39 per cent in 2023. Of the 8,94,264 students who took the Tamil Nadu Class 10 examinations, 8,18,743 passed the SSLC exams.Those who sat the exam can get their scorecards online by entering their login information, such as their roll number and birthdate, at dge.tn.gov.in and tnresults.nic.in, the official websites for results.

Girls surpassed boys yet again with their performance, with an overall pass rate of 94.53 per cent, compared to 88.58 per cent for boys. However, girls’ performance has declined somewhat compared to the previous year’s 94.66 per cent.

This year, Ariyalur has been the top-performing district, with Sivagangai coming in second and Ramanathapuram coming in third. Notably, 4105 schools achieved a perfect score, with 1364 of them being government institutions.

Step 1: Visit tnresults.nic.in, the official website of the Tamil Nadu Board, to check your results.

Step 2: Select the TN 10th result link 2024 from the homepage.

Step 3: Enter your birthdate and exam roll number on the screen that redirects you.

Step 4: After you have submitted your information, the class 10th mark sheet 2024 will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Review and double-check the information.

Step 6: Take a printout of the TN SSLC class 10 result 2024 for future reference.

For students to view the TNDGE Board Result 2024 online, they must have their roll number and date of birth. However, the online marksheets are merely provisional. The final marksheets will be released by schools some time later.

To pass the Tamil Nadu SSLC board examinations in 2024, a candidate must earn at least 35 marks in each subject. Those who do not meet the minimum qualifying scores will be offered the opportunity to sit for supplementary exams.The registration for supplementary tests will commence tomorrow May 11. Students can request for re-evaluation between May 15 and May 20 while the he re-tests will be conducted on July 2.
