Candidates who have a PGCET 2023 rank but have not been given any seat will be eligible for this final round

The final round schedule for the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) has been announced by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). Candidates will now be able to check the final round schedule by visiting the official KEA website at  kea.kar.nic.in. Candidates can register themselves for courses including MBA, MCA, ME and MTech via the same website. Candidates who have a PGCET 2023 rank but have not been given any seat will be eligible for this final round.

If candidates have not been given a seat in either the first or second rounds, or have cancelled their seat prior then they will not be able to participate in these rounds.

Candidates will be given the option to surrender their KEA seat selected in the first round. They will have to cancel the seat online, on or before 11 am on February 22 this year. If the candidates cancel their seats within the prescribed time limit, they will also be entitled to a refund of the deposited fee amount. However, they must note that a cancellation fee of Rs 5,000 will be levied on the original amount. If a candidate is adding a fresh choice then it must be entered within the seat allocation procedure. Options that have been entered in previous rounds will not be considered for appointment.

KEA PGCET 2024: Important Dates

–– February 21, post 11 am – Publication of the seat matrix

–– February 21 to 23 – Fresh entry options entered earlier won’t be entertained

–– February 23, post 6 pm – Seat allotment results to be published

–– February 26 to 28 by 4 pm – Challan download, payment of a fee

–– February 29, ahead of 3:30 pm – Admission order download

–– February 29, ahead of 5:30 pm – Deadline day to report to the colleges

How to apply for the Karnataka PGCET 2023?

Step 1: The first step of the application requires you to visit the official KEA website at kea.kar.nic.in.

Step 1: You would next have to look for the PGCET 2023 registration link.

Step 1: A new page should then open where you can register yourself.

Step 1: Once the registration is done, you will have to log in to the account.

Step 1: Next fill in the application form and pay the required fee.

Step 1: Hit submit and save the page on your computer.

Step 1: Getting a printout can help with future reference.

The last date of application for the Karnataka PGCET 2024 was September 1 last year.
