Losing your loved one can be the worst pain anyone has to experience in their life; it is something that no one has control over. The unfortunate family of a 3-year-old had to experience that pain twice.
The little girl named Camila Roxana Martinez Mendoza was declared dead by the doctors after being diagnosed with a stomach infection. However, according to the shocking reports, the girl woke up at her funeral after being “dead” for twelve hours, passing away later.
The incident, which took place a few years ago, was reported from the Mexican state of San Luis Potosi, at the Salinas de Hildalgo Community Hospital. According to Mary Jane Mendoza, the mother of the deceased, her daughter was consistently vomiting while experiencing stomach aches and fever. She took Camila to a local pediatrician in their hometown of Villa de Ramos, who referred her to a community hospital. There, she underwent treatment for dehydration and was given paracetamol. No improvements were observed in her state, so the parents took her to another doctor. They advised the mother to feed her fruits and water and changed her medication.
Her condition worsened further and her parents took her to the same hospital, more reports stated. Talking to the media, Mary Jane said, “They wanted to give her (intravenous therapy). They took a long time to put oxygen on her.” She continued, “They didn’t put it on her because they couldn’t find her little veins; finally, a nurse-managed it.” After a few minutes they removed her IV and took her away to rest. The toddler was later declared dead, the cause being dehydration, according to the doctors.
During the funeral the next day, Mary noticed the coffin to be foggy but was told by others that she must be hallucinating. However, when the child’s grandmother saw her eyes moving, the family checked her pulse and found that she was still alive. They rushed to the hospital where she was unfortunately declared dead for a second time.
