According to X user @venkyHQ, he stumbled upon a Microsoft staff software engineer driving an auto-rickshaw in Koramangala. The engineer, donning a hoodie with the Microsoft logo, was driving for Namma Yatri to combat loneliness on weekends, leaving the internet absolutely stunned.

“Met a 35 year old staff software engineer at Microsoft in Kormangala driving Namma Yatri to combat loneliness on weekends,” read the caption of the post.

“No way this is true,” exclaimed one user. “Are you sure he actually works there and not just wearing donated merchandise?” questioned another, echoing the disbelief of many.

In her post, she described how a regular Rapido ride took an unexpected turn when she discovered her driver was a corporate manager who enjoyed helping people reach their destinations for a reasonable fare. Out of respect for his privacy, she didn’t disclose any further details. “In my peak Bangalore moment today, the Rapido guy turned out to be a corporate manager in one of the big companies, who likes to help people reach their destinations for reasonable amounts. I repeat, anything is possible in Bangalore,” she wrote.
