When her daughter asked about her mother’s whereabouts after returning from school, he suggested that her mother might be in the garage. This incident took place on November 30, 2022. Initially, Lo Bianco made an effort to paint the murder as an accident. However, he later confessed and submitted a guilty plea in court.

As reported by the Guardian, on November 30, 2022, Roumeliotis was stepping out of her vehicle when Lo Bianco struck her, hitting her head and neck with a metal car ramp.

He staged an accidental death by leaving her dead on the garage floor with the murder weapon underneath her head. He then proceeded to take off and conceal his clothing, which was stained with blood.

To pass the time, Lo Bianco walked next door and spoke with his in-laws for over an hour, the report said.

When the daughter arrived, she reportedly asked about her mother and stipulated she be in the garage. After that, Lo Bianco instructed his daughter to check if she was still there.

The child screamed for help as soon as he saw the horrific scene. When the rescue personnel arrived, Roumeliotis’ sister-in-law started CPR on her while her family hurried over from next door. Paramedics verified that she had already passed away.

Initially, Lo Bianco told authorities that his wife must have stumbled and fallen and that he was in the backyard cleaning a rabbit enclosure.

According to The Guardian, on September 4, 2024, he entered a guilty plea to murder before the Victorian Supreme Court, acknowledging what had transpired.

The report states that because Roumeliotis did not receive the COVID-19 vaccination, he lost his job, which led to a dispute over money.

On November 30, they had a when Roumeliotis informed Lo Bianco that he must bring in additional income.

Then, after 7 PM, Lo Bianco killed his wife.

His defence attorney, Moya O’Brien, claimed that he did so in the “heat of the moment” following months of marital discord rather than carrying out a planned attack, The Guardian cited him saying.
