New Delhi: Contrary to earlier speculations, the much looked forward to Apple product launch event is now expected to be held almost a week later on March 21.
The Apple event was earlier speculated to be held on March 15, however, latest reports hint at the later date when the next iteration of the iPhone 5 could be unveiled, Re/code notes.
For long, the tech giant has been rumoured to be working on an iPhone 5se - new 4-inch version of the iPhone 5s- crafted especially for consumers seeking a faster device without upgrading to the larger screen size present on the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus.
Further reports also hint that Apple might just drop the '5' from the new device and instead call it simply the 'iPhone se'. This would mark a shift from Apple's traditional nomenclature for its smartphones which contain a number.
Other than the new iPhone, Apple is also likely to take the wraps off its new iPad Air tablet at the event. It is also speculated that a new iPad Pro with a 9.7-inch display could debut at the event along with a host of new Apple Watch band options.
