Ramadan 2024: Dos and Don’ts For the Holy Month of Ramzan
During Ramadan Muslims observe fasts for 29–30 days and then culminate it with pomp and gaiety with the grand feasting of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar, is observed by Muslims worldwide. It is that time of the year when Muslims observe fasts for 29–30 days and then culminate it with pomp and gaiety with the grand feasting of Eid-ul-Fitr. This period holds special significance for Muslims, as it is believed that Ramadan commemorates the first revelation of the Holy Quran to the Prophet Muhammad by God.

This holy month is seen as an opportunity for spiritual growth, self-improvement, and strengthening one’s relationship with Allah. Ramadan fosters a sense of community through shared experiences, gatherings for prayers and meals, and increased acts of charity and kindness.

This year, the holy month of Ramadan 2024 will begin on March 12 and will end after four weeks with Eid-ul-Fitr on April 11, 2024.
