The infant’s mother, Priyanka Kumari, experienced pain and weakness before the delivery.

Sometimes, you experience something so miraculous that it restores your faith in a higher being, who is right there, protecting you. A case from Bihar is gaining a lot of attention online, where a baby girl was declared dead but a few minutes later was reportedly found breathing.

Local18 exclusively reports the case from the town of Chakia, the East Champaran district in Bihar. Reports state further that after the delivery at a private hospital, the baby was declared dead. Upon examination, the doctors did not find any pulse nor did they observe any blood circulation in the body.

The doctors then immediately transferred her to the NICU, to start her treatment. For about an hour, a team of three doctors at the SKMCH (Shri Krishna Medical College and Hospital) treated the infant. Thanks to their determination, the girl’s pulse rate returned, note that this was done without a ventilator, as all the other equipment was unavailable. So, the doctors saved the girl through CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation).

On Wednesday night, pregnant Priyanka Kumari, wife of Sandeep Kumar was brought to a private hospital in Chakia. Raju Kumar, Sandeep’s older brother revealed that Priyanka was experiencing pain and weakness, so the doctor in charge was asked to operate. However, she was adamant about completing the delivery normally. During the birth, the child got stuck and they somehow got it out. The doctor then informed the family that would not be able to save the baby’s life, giving them a big blow.

Then the family rushed to the SKMCH, where the doctors were able to revive the infant, in a matter of 10 minutes, reported Local18.

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation or CPR is a life-saving procedure done in emergencies to revive an individual’s heartbeat or breathing. It is done when a person experiences electric shock, heart attack or if they simply stop breathing.
