In a recent poll conducted by Hunch, a social discovery app, GenZs revealed their diverse and ambitious bucket lists for the year 2024. Generated by users on the app, the poll garnered responses from 62,000 participants, providing insights into their aspirations for the coming year.

Hunch said that this poll gives a peek into the diverse dreams of the next generation in 2024. Whether it’s a determined focus on financial success, the adventurous desire for global travel, or the heartfelt search for meaningful connections and a balanced lifestyle, Gen Z is creating a tapestry of aspirations that mirrors their dynamic and varied personalities.

It’s clear that crafting bucket lists is a timeless tradition, evolving with each generation and offering a colourful array of dreams that make each new year uniquely promising.

Key findings;

A staggering 34.4% of Gen Z individuals expressed their primary bucket list goal as making money. Hunch said this data reflects a generation that is taking the aspect of wealth creation seriously, showcasing a pragmatic and entrepreneurial spirit.

The poll underscores Gen Z’s commitment to financial success and independence, shedding light on their proactive approach towards shaping a secure and prosperous future.

25.7% of Gen Z respondents expressed a burning desire for a world tour to be at the top of their bucket list for 2024. Eager to explore diverse cultures and create memories across the globe, this wanderlust-driven aspiration showcases the adventurous spirit that defines this demographic.

Close on the heels of global exploration, 22.4% of respondents are on a quest to find a life partner in 2024. This emphasis on personal connections underscores the importance of meaningful relationships for Gen Z, as they navigate a world marked by digital interconnectedness.

And for 17.5% of respondents, adopting the best lifestyle takes precedence as their primary bucket list goal for 2024. This points to a conscientious approach toward well-being, self-improvement, and pursuing a fulfilling and balanced life.
