The Dumdum MP was seen scouting for a public transport outside Writers' Building.
Kolkata: Trinamool Congress leader Saugata Roy, who resigned from the union council of ministers along with his party colleagues on Friday, had to hire a taxi to return home after a meeting with the party chief Mamata Banerjee at the state secretariat on Saturday.
Soon after briefing newsmen near the central gate of the grand edifice, Roy was seen scouting for a public transport.
He then started walking towards the mini-bus stand in Dalhousie Square, crossed the street and waited.
Curious onlookers were surprised to see Roy on a bus stand. Shortly after that, a cab came near him into which he hopped into and left.
