Salman Khan is undeniably one of the biggest superstars of Indian Cinema. There is no denying in the fact that he has created a record of giving 17 consecutive 100 crores films in the domestic market including his latest release ‘Tiger 3’. The film despite a faced fractured holidays due to Diwali, and the world Cup, the film ran on Salman Khan’s stardom and went on to earn 500 crores globally.
Following the massive success of Tiger 3, the superstar recently graced the 29th Kolkata International Film Festival held in Kolkata. Besides Salman Khan prominent names like Anil Kapoor, Shatrughan Sinha, Sonakshi Sinha, and Saurav Ganguly marked their presence at the event.
Salman Khan also inaugrated the 29th Kolkata International Film Festival by lightning the lamp at the event where many names were presented. Salman Khan looked absolutely dashing at the event and the crowd went berserk after seeing the glimpse of their favorite superstar in the city. Salman Khan received a warm welcome at the event and the star was wearing black attire at the event which always goes well with his personality and appearance.
At the event Salman Khan met the Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee and also gave a speech during the same which won the hearts of the fans and the audiences.
Meanwhile Salman Khan who will be recently seen in Tiger 3 is having some interesting line up in his future releases which includes a film with Karan Johar Productions which will be announced by the superstar soon.
The Kolkata International Film Festival, starting today, is set to run until December 12, with the opening ceremony held at the Netaji Indoor Stadium in Kolkata. Upon his arrival at the Kolkata airport, Salman Khan received a warm welcome from singer and politician Babul Supriyo. His schedule includes returning to Mumbai by Tuesday night.
