On the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, Malaika Arora was seen arriving at Shilpa Shetty’s house for Ganpati Puja. The actress made heads turn in an all orange traditional ensemble. She arrived for the celebration with fashion designer Vikram Phadnis. A video of the same has gone viral now.
Malaika looked breathtakingly gorgeous in her orange attire. She completed her look with chunky jewellery and kept her wavy locks lose. Donning one of her brightest smiles, she found the perfect balance between elegance and charm, while the paparazzi captured her.

Earlier in the day, Shilpa Shetty gave a glimpse of the Ganpati puja from her home. Going by the photo, it looks like the theme was ivory and gold. Shilpa looked gorgeous in an ivor and gold dhoti sari accessorised with traditional jewellery, while Raj Kundra opted for Kurta in the same colour palatte. Her children – Viaan Raj Kundra and Samisha Shetty Kundra – too, wore ivory and gold outfits. She captioned the photo, “Ganpati Bappa Moriya???????? Happy Ganesh Chaturthi to you all ????♥️ Sukhee Bhava.”
Coming back to Malaika, she recently made headlines for her rumoured breakup with Arjun Kapoor. The rumours started after netizens noticed that the Bollywood diva neither commented nor liked Arjun’s latest social media pictures. While the two have not issued any official statement regarding their alleged breakup as of now, it was recently claimed that Arjun is now dating Kusha Kapila. The two recently attended a party at Karan Johar’s residence when their group pictures also went viral on social media.
More fuel was added to this speculated fire after Malaika unfollowed Arjun’s family members on Instagram. This included his father Boney Kapoor, uncle Anil Kapoor and sisters Anshula Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. Soon after this, both Arjun and Malaika took to their Instagram stories to share cryptic messages that fans thought hinted at their breakup. Malaika posted quotes about ‘change being the only law in life’ and moving on from the past.
While these rumours seemed to have subsided after the couple’s date appearances, fans again grew curious after Arjun was missing from Malaika’s Onam celebrations this year. Malaika had hosted a Sadya lunch for her close friends at her mother’s Joyce’s house. Neither Arjun nor Malaika has given any statements about these rumours.
