Chiyaan Vikram is currently making headlines for his much-awaited movie, Thangalaan. It is directed by Pa Ranjith and has created a huge expectation among the viewers. The makers recently arranged an audio launch event for the film; on this occasion, the lead actor shared about his struggles days and how he defied the destiny written by doctors.
At the event, the actor began sharing about his aspirations of becoming an actor and how he always came in last in school academics. So from an early age, he started pursuing his aspiration; the actor participated in various plays and would often choose diverse roles to play.
Additionally, the actor shared more about his major accident back in the day. He said, that in a major accident, his leg got broken, and doctors said he probably would never walk again. He was in the hospital for 3 years and had to undergo 23 surgeries, but with his immense patience, passion and self-confidence, he bounced back.
Further talking about his experience of working in Thangalaan, the actor said he worked hard on his health and took up every opportunity that came his way for this film. He also added that Thangalaan is a special film for him; he had to completely transform himself for the role.
Lastly, the popular Tamil star talked about hope and expressed his gratitude for all the support he received at that time and ever since his debut in the film industry. He thanked his fans for always being there for him and the audience who appreciated his work.
Thangalaan, directed by Pa Ranjith, stars Chiyaan Vikram and Malavika Mohanan as the main leads. The film is said to revolve around pre-Independence time. It’s a fantasy, action-adventure, and Vikram’s 61st film.
The movie also features actors Parvathy Thiruvothu, Daniel Caltagirone, Hari Krishnan Anbudurai, Vettai Muthukumar, Krish Hassan, and many more in the supporting roles. The music for the film is composed by GV Prakash Kumar.
Earlier, the makers unveiled two singles from the upcoming film, which received immense appreciation from the viewers. The film is scheduled for release on August 15.
