Shruti Haasan and Santanu Hazarika BREAK UP, Unfollow Each Other On Social Media
Shruti Haasan and Santanu Hazarika were dating for a long time and were even in a live-in relationship for the last couple of years.

Shruti Haasan and Santanu Hazarika have reportedly broken up. If a recent post by the paparazzo account Viral Bhayani is to be believed, the two are no longer together and have even unfollowed each other on social media. Not just this, Shruti recently took to her Instagram handle when she penned down a cryptic note that read, “It’s been a crazy ride, learning so much about myself and about people.”

However, it should also be noted that neither Shruti nor Santanu have issued any statement regarding their alleged break up.

Shruti and Santanu were dating for a long time and were even in a live-in relationship for the last couple of years. They were often papped together and never shied away from expressing love towards one another in public. Santanu is a famous doodle and multidisciplinary visual artist. He has worked with many famous celebrities including Raftaar, Divine, and Ritviz.

Earlier this year, social media sensation Orry aka Orhan Awatramani sparked their wedding rumours after he referred to Santanu as Shruti’s husband. However, Shruti later clarified that they are not married. “So, I’m not married. For someone who has been open about every single thing, why would I hide this? LOL. So people who don’t know me at all, please calm down,” she wrote on her Instagram stories.

Prior to this, in an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, Santanu talked about their relationship and being in public all the time. He argued that it can be “demanding” and also talked about the trolling he faced for being Shruti’s beau.

“I get a lot of racist remarks. I mean, which is very unkind and mean. But, I mean, for us, we both are each other’s support system in a way that we are very supportive. We’re very supportive of the work that we do. We are mutual respect’s art form, and we are each other’s sounding board. So, whenever we work on anything, we are the first critics of each other’s work. And, I mean, for us, work, art, and expression are what take priority and everything else is secondary. So that mental space and that focus help us sort of ignore all the negative aspects of being in the public eye,” he said.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Shruti Haasan was last seen in Salaar. The film also starred Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead and was widely loved by all. Salaar earned over Rs 700 crore at the box office worldwide.
