It is often a dream come true for fans when they see their favourite on screen couples become offscreen lovers. Many co-stars working in the television industry often have their reel life romance culminate into a real life one. Marathi TV stars Yogita Chavan and Saurabh Choughule, renowned for their roles as an on-screen couple in the popular TV soap Jeev Majha Guntala, took the marital plunge in March this year. It was a surprise event for both fans and even the cast and crew of Jeev Majha Guntala, as the couple had managed to keep their relationship as secretive as possible.
Now, after three months of their married life, in between which they went abroad for their honeymoon, Yogita and Saurabh have a new surprise for their fans. They have taken the next step of securing their future together by purchasing a new home. The house is reportedly in Powai in Central Mumbai. Saurabh shared photos from their Griha Pravesh ceremony, which symbolically shows both of them setting foot into their new house with the puja kalash in their hands. The post also has a photo of a stylish name plate containing both their names with a heart sign in between.Saurabh captioned the post, “Let’s fulfil a dream together In a new city, let’s build a new life. Cheers to our new beginnings”
Marathi TV celebrities like Purneima Dey and Sangram Samel congratulated them on buying their new house. Fans also showered the couple with lots of best wishes for their new beginning together.
In Jeev Majha Guntala, Yogita played a woman who has to resort to driving an auto rickshaw to make ends meet. The show is adapted from the Kannada daily soap Mithuna Raashi. The show also got Bengali and Hindi remakes, titled Tumpa Autowali and Saavi Ki Savaari respectively.
