'Looking For Perfect Story': Vicky Kaushal On Not Working With Katrina Kaif Yet

Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk’s romance-comedy film Bad Newz recently came to theatres on July 19. The audience is responding quite well. With the earnings of the first day, Bad Newz has become the highest opener for Vicky’s career. On the one hand, the film’s box office has made headlines. On the other hand, Vicky is promoting this film vigorously. Along with this, he is also making revelations one after the other.

For a long time, fans have been expecting to see Vicky with Katrina on the big screen. Recently, Vicky Kaushal was asked this question in a media interaction and his answer is currently garnering everyone’s attention.

Replying to this question, Vicky said, “I hope that Katrina and I will be seen in a film soon. We are also looking for such a story, but we do not want to do a film that is made just by taking us together. Our pairing should be according to the demand of the story, only then will it be fun. We are waiting and we are not in any hurry for this.”

Bad Newz is directed by Anand Tiwari. Produced by Amazon Prime, Dharma Productions and Leo Media Collective, the film is inspired by true events. It is a spiritual sequel to 2019 Good Newwz and revolves around heteropaternal superfecundation, a reproductive process in which twins are born to the same mother but from different biological fathers.

Vickey will next be seen in the upcoming historical drama film Chhava. The film is directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films, with music composed by A. R. Rahman. The film stars Vicky Kaushal as Maratha emperor Sambhaji, son of Shivaji. Rashmika Mandanna, Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana and Divya Dutta play supporting roles. The film is scheduled to release on December 6.

On the other hand, Katrina was last seen in the mystery thriller film Merry Christmas. It was directed by Sriram Raghavan and starring Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi as the main lead. The film was produced jointly by Ramesh Taurani, Jaya Taurani, Sanjay Routray and Kewal Garg under Tips Films and Matchbox Pictures. It is based on Frédéric Dard’s French novel Le Monte-charge (The Bird in the Cage).
