Two Bangalore youth drown in Bhatkal

KARWAR: Two youths, who had gone for swimming in a river at Henjil near Haduvalli of Bhatkal taluk, coming under Murdeshwar police limits, drowned on Friday afternoon. According to the police, the victims have been identified as Nahim (24) and Sakir (25), both the residents of Frazer Town in Bangalore. The deceased had come to visit their relatives in Bhatkal. Six people went to Henjil for swimming in the river. The bodies of the deceased were recovered and brought to the government hospital at Bhatkal for postmortem, the police said.
