The incident comes three days after 16 people were killed due to a billboard collapse in Mumbai's Ghatkopar area

A billboard collapsed in Maharashtra’s Pimpri-Chinchwad as a result of strong winds, earlier on Thursday. This comes three days after the Mumbai incident where 16 people lost their lives.

Nobody has been reported to be injured in Thursday’s incident.

“A 30 x 30 feet hoarding erected on the margin of the road at Jai Ganesh Samrajya chowk in Moshi area collapsed around 4.30 pm. It fell on a stationary tempo truck and a couple of two-wheelers. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as there was nobody inside or on the vehicles,” police said.

An official from the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipality Corporation, Manoj Lonkar said, “A hoarding fell down here around 4.30 pm. There are no casualties. We will lift the hoarding with the help of a crane and remove vehicles stuck under it.”
