Sheena Bora's grandparents mentioned as her mother, father in birth certificate

The case of Sheena Bora's murder is getting murkier everyday with money, strained relationship and crime all adding up. CNN-IBN on Thursday accessed Sheena's birth certificate in which her grandparents are mentioned as her mother and father. There is no mention of TV tycoon Peter Mukerjea's wife Indrani who is Sheena's mother in the certificate.

Meanwhile, Indrani's ex-husband Sanjeev Khanna and co-accused has not confessed to killing Sheena but during his interrogation, he confessed to being inside the car in which Sheena was strangled.

Nailing Indrani and Sanjeev Khanna, the driver, Shyam Rai, has given the account of the alleged cold-blooded murder.

According to the driver's statement, Indrani went for a reccee on April 23, 2012 along with him in Gagode village near Khopli Pen road in Mumbai where she planned to dump Sheena's body after killing her.

Following this, she gave a call to Sanjeev Khanna.

The next day, on April 24, Indrani booked a room at Worli Hill Top hotel in Mumbai as Sanjeev arrived from Kolkata after the phone call.

The duo picked up Indrani's daughter Sheena at around 7 pm the same day from near National College at Linking Road in Bandra.

Sheena was allegedly strangulated inside the car by Indrani and Sanjeev, and body was dumped inside a bag, which was put at the back of the car.

Later, the bag was allegedly set on fire at around 4 am on April 25. Sanjeev returned to Kolkata after disposing off Sheena's body.

Sheena's brother Mikhail Bora also shared his version of events with the Mumbai police who questioned him in Dispur on Thursday evening.

Mikhail said that he had answered all questions by investigators and might be called again for further questioning. He added that he did not submit any document to the police. Notably, he had claimed to have in his possession some photographs and documents against Indrani and Peter Mukerjea.

Earlier in the day, sources had said that Indrani had plans to murder her son Mikhail also. She had reportedly asked him to come to Kolkata, but he had refused.

The plot to kill Mikhail was deduced by police while they were questioning Sanjeev Khanna, Indrani's previous husband and second accused in the case.

Confirming the same, Mikhail had said, "She asked me to come to Kolkata but I denied. She told she'll take care of my grandparents and I should move to Kolkata where she will get me a job and help me settle there, but my instinct told me not to and I denied.
