New Delhi: The Louis Vuitton Cup saw a new member participating in the sailing competition. Michael Schumacher was loyal enough to stick to Ferrari colours, and found the ride enjoyable as well.

You've seen him behind the red wheels burning the race track. Now take a look at the champion setting sail, literally. Michael Schumacher tried his hand at another sport. So how did it feel being on water instead of the roads?

"It was a great experience. In particular I liked to to meet up with all these guys, company. And yes, why not, it was beautiful. I hope the weather would be a little bit warmer next time," Schumacher said.

So, is it just as tense as it was when he was behind the Ferrari wheels?

"There are some very strong guys up on the boat but the communication and how it is handled looks very nice and anyway you still have time to communicate so while the race in a certain moment of time is going, yes there is tension but at the same time a little bit of room for flexibility," Schumacher adds.

But the Grand Prix will beckon. So will the race king come back onto the tracks?

"Will probably go to the Barcelona Grand Prix, in order to watch this one, from a live perspective, to see how the team works, what is going on over there so far, everything goes very well, very smooth. Otherwise just stick with the family and enjoy life as much as you can," Schumacher says.

Let's hope it's all smooth sailing for the seven-time F1 champion.
