Ravenshaw to have luxury guest house

CUTTACK: World renowned architect Hafeez Contractor is building his first project in Orissa.He will design a two-storey luxury guest house for Ravenshaw University here.The project will have 10 suites and be designed in sync with the colonial structure of the University.It will come up near the western gate of the varsity.Addressing mediapersons here on Sunday, Hafeez said that he would make the project plan in a month.It would then be submitted to the Ravenshaw authorities.After approval, the work would begin and the project is scheduled to be completed in one-and-ahalf years.Funds for the guest house will be provided by the State Government.Sources said Kunjankant Mohapatra, founder-director of the ABIT Group of Institutions and the man behind roping in Hafeez for the project, has donated ` 10 lakh for the guest house.
