State Bank of Travancore (SBT) has invited applications for appointment in 2,500 vacancies in the clerical cadre for its branches all over India. It is after a long gap that such a massive recruitment drive is being carried out for clerical cadre in the SBT.
Candidates can apply for vacancies in one state only and will have to appear for a written test from a centre of that particular state.
Age and educational qualification for applicants as on August 1, 2012 is 18-28 years and 12th standard (10+2) pass or equivalent with a minimum of 60 per cent aggregate or a degree (graduation) from a recognised university.
Reservation and age relaxation will be applicable to SC/ ST/OBC/ PWD/ex-service persons, as per GOI guidelines.
Written test will be conducted on October 10 and 14, 2012. Current emoluments for graduates will be an approximate ` 14,200 in a metro city.
