Isari Ganesh denied bail

CHENNAI: Isari Ganesh, chancellor of a private University and son of yesteryear Tamil film comedian Isari Velan, was refused bail by the Principal Sessions Judge P Devadass on Friday.Ganesh, who held the post of president of Pachaiyappa’s trust, was arrested on November 1 by the Kilpauk police following a complaint from a trust member Sivasubramaniam. The plaint alleged that Ganesh attacked and intimidated him during elections to the trust.
