Emirates announces new fares to the US from City

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Emirates, the award-winning international airline, has announced new fares for its passengers travelling to destinations in the USA. The airline has introduced special return Economy class fares and special one-way fares to various destinations within the USA beginning at Rs. 34,775 to New York via Dubai. The offer is valid for sale till July 31 and for travel until August 25, this year.Although Emirates connects directly from Dubai to New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Houston, it is offering special one-way fares also to interior points in the US such as Washington, Chicago, Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Detroit and Seattle, said a press note issued here by the carrier.Additionally, there will be a special offer for students travelling abroad for higher education. Students aged between 17 and 26 travelling to New York, Houston, Los Angeles and San Francisco will be allowed to carry excess baggage up to 23 kg, while students travelling to London, Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle, Birmingham, Perth, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne will be allowed an additional baggage of 10 kg travelling in the economy class. This offer is valid till September 15.To avail of this extra baggage offer, students only have to obtain the signature of the head of the institution on the student form, or attach the student visa copy with the audit coupon of the ticket. The offer is valid only on outbound travel. Normal baggage allowance is applicable for inbound travellers. “Our endeavour is to bring the best in travel options to our passengers.
