BANGALORE: Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda told the Assembly on Tuesday that the collection of commercial tax could increase by `500 crore at the end of the current fiscal. On Tuesday, the Karnataka Municipalities and Certain Other Law (Amendment) Bill, 2011, was passed in the legislative assembly. Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister S Suresh Kumar, who tabled the Bill, said every owner of a building having 2,400 sq ft of area or owner will construct a building of 1,200 sq ft should provide RWH structure for a storage for reuse or for groundwater recharge.
