Central Railways Recruitment 2018: 21 Sports Quota Jobs, Apply Before 20th February 2018

Central Railways Recruitment 2018 to fill 21 Sports Quota jobs is currently open for the eligible candidates on the official website of Railway Recruitment Cell of Central Railways - rrccr.com.

The RRC Central Railway Notification No. RRC/CR/03/2017 was floated earlier this month and the application process will close on 20th February 2018, 5PM. The selected candidates will be placed in Level 3/2 and Level 5/4. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for the different posts reserved under Sports Quota by following the instructions given below:

Step 1 – Visit the official website - https://www.rrccr.com

Step 2 – Under “Online application for Recruitment against Open Advertisement Sports Quota for the year 2017-18”, click on the notification that reads,

Step 3 – Click on ‘Click here to Register’

Step 4 – Enter your details, fill the application form, pay the application fee and complete the application process

Step 5 – Download the confirmation page and take a printout for further reference

Application Fee:

1. General & OBC – ₹500

2. SC/ST – ₹250

Academic Qualification:

Level 5/4: The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University.

Level 3/2: The applicant must be a Class 12th passed or its Equivalent or Class 10th passed with Course Completed Act Apprenticeship or ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT.

Age-Limit:

The applicant must fall in the age bracket of 18-25 years of age as on 1st July 2018.

Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility criteria differs for different sports disciplines, therefore candidates must go through the official notification RRC/CR/03/2017 in detail before applying for the job.

Selection Process:

As per the official notification:

“For Open Advertisement Recruitment: All eligible candidates will be called for Trial and after Trial, only the FIT candidates shall be assessed for next stage of recruitment. Candidates declared NOT FIT by the Trial committee, will not be assessed further by the Recruitment Committee”
