On the request of the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS), the aviation security regulator, the flight was diverted to Delhi and has landed safely. VISTARA FLIGHT RECEIVED BOMB THREAT EARLIER

On October 9, a Vistara aircraft from London to New Delhi received a bomb threat, after which the plane landed safely at the airport in the national capital.

Sources said that a piece of paper with a message about a bomb onboard the plane was found in one of the lavatories and the relevant authorities were immediately informed, PTI reported.

There were nearly 290 passengers on the aircraft.

In line with the protocol, the relevant authorities were immediately informed and the aircraft was taken to the isolation bay for mandatory checks, after landing safely at the Delhi airport.
