77 poor couples to tie the knot on February 26

VELLORE:South India Purohits Sangam invites registration for 77 free marriages among the poor, to mark Jayendhra Saraswathi Swamy’s 77th Jayanthi, on February 26. Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peedathipathi Sri Jayendhra Saraswathi Sankaracharya Swamy’s 77th Jayanthi celebration would take place from Feb 17 to 19. The Sankara Madam has planned to conduct 77 free marriages to the poor with ‘seervarisai’, on Feb 26 at Sri Ekambareswarar temple.Interested beneficiaries should submit a certificate to prove that it is the first marriage, age, residential address proof documents, copy of the family card and a photo of the beneficiary and register at: Narasimha Ayyar, Founder General Manager, South India Purohit Sangam, Amudhanilayam, 19/9 Agraharam street (near Municipality Office), Arcot 632 503.
