HYDERABAD: Two persons who duped several unemployed youngsters of more than Rs 30 lakh were nabbed on Wednesday by Task Force sleuths. The accused had reportedly opened a computer training-cum-placement firm and duped youngsters by promising them jobs.According to police, the main accused P Rosi Reddy alias Satish of Prakasam, started a training and placement office in the name of Cogent Solutions near Sagar Society at Banjara Hills. Earlier, he used to run his office from Mind Space IT park at Madhapur. He employed his cousin, P Naresh as a network administrator.Additional deputy commissioner of police K Raghuram Reddy said Satish lured unemployed youth with providing three-month training in computer courses like dotNet, Java and testing tools and later promising them jobs in software firms like Cogent and other MNCs. “More than 40 job aspirants paid nearly Rs 30 lakh for training and placement. Satish gave them offer letters and identity cards but no training or placement was provided,’’ Raghuram Reddy said. As Satish failed to provide any placements, one of the duped candidates approached police and a cheating case was registered against Satish, Naresh and others.On information, Task Force sleuths nabbed Satish, Naresh while two other employees of the firm, G Uday Bhaskar and Vasanth are absconding. Police seized computers from the arrested. The accused were handed over to Banjara Hills police for further action.
