Download the Fitbit app. Download the official Fitbit app from the Windows Store if you haven't already. To get the Fitbit app: Click Start Windows Start. Click the Microsoft Store Microsoft Store. Type fitbit into the search bar. Click the Fitbit app in the results. Click Install.
Open Fitbit. It's the app with white dots in the shape of a diamond, located in the app list of the Start Menu. If you just finished installing the Fitbit app, you can click Launch instead.
Click Join Fitbit to create an account if you don't already have an account. If you already have a Fitbit account, then click Log In and sign in with the email address and password for your Fitbit account.
Plug in the Fitbit USB dongle that came with your Fitbit device. If you already have an account, your Fitbit will sync automatically as soon as the dongle detects your Fitbit device. If your device didn't come with a USB dongle, you may need to connect the device using Bluetooth.
Select your Fitbit device from the list of models.
Click Set up Your [Fitbit device]. It the button at the bottom of the page.
Click Let's go. It's at the bottom of the screen.
Enter your personal information. Provide all the requested personal and physical information as accurately as possible so the Fitbit app can track your movement and fitness more accurately You'll need to provide the following information: Birthday. Height. Gender. Weight. First and Last name.
Provide your email address and create a password. This will be the email address and password you'll use to log into your account.
Type your email address and password in the next two bars.
Check the box for "I agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy" and then click Android 7 Done. It's the checkmark button at the bottom of the page. The app will search for your Fitbit device. When it's detected, you Fitbit device will display a 4 digit number.
Enter the pairing code in your app. You Fitbit will sync with your computer. If you leave the USB dongle plugged into your computer, whenever you Fitbit is in range of your computer it will automatically sync.
On Mac
Go to https://www.fitbit.com in a web browser. Open your preferred web browser and go the main Fitbit website.
Click Setup. It's in the upper-right corner of the page.
Click Download for Mac. It's the pink button below the image of the smartphones. This starts the download of the Fitbit installer file.
Double-click the file once it's finished downloading. It's the file named "FitbitConnect-v2.0.2.7....dmg". This will open a new window with the Installer file. By default, all downloaded files can be found in your "Download" folder in the Finder.
Install the Fitbit Connect app. To install the Fitbit Connect app: Double-click Install Fitbit Connect.pkg Click Continue. Click Continue. Click Agree. Click Install. Enter your admin password if prompted and click Install Software.
Click + Set Up a New Fitbit Device. It's the first option on the left side of the app.
Plug in the Fitbit USB dongle into a USB slot. The app will start searching for your Fitbit and updating it if needed.. If your device didn't come with a USB dongle, you may need to connect the device using Bluetooth.
Click New to Fitbit if you don't yet have an account. Provide the following to create an account: Enter an email address and password. This will be the email and password you use to log in to your account. Click the checkbox for "I agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy". Tap Sign Up.

Tap Sign Up. It's the pink button at the bottom of the page.
Select your Fitbit device from the list of models and click Next. The app will search for your Fitbit device. When it's detected, you Fitbit device will display a 4 digit number.
Enter the pairing code in your app. You Fitbit will sync with your computer. If you leave the USB dongle plugged into your computer, whenever you Fitbit is in range of your computer it will automatically sync.
