Pulkit Samrat and Kriti Kharbanda met each other on the sets of Pagalpanti (2019) and began dating soon after. The lovebirds confirmed their romance a few months later and four years later in January this year, they got engaged as pictures from their roka ceremony surfaced online. Earlier today, their wedding invite went viral that features the couple seated on a balcony as they look at the blue waters and a message that reads, ‘Can’t wait to celebrate with our squad. Love, Pulkit & Kriti.’
While speculations are rife that they will tie the knot this month, News18 Showsha has exclusively learnt the date of their big day. A source told us, “The pre-wedding festivities will kickstart next Wednesday (March 13) and will run till March 16. March 15 is the day they will become husband and wife. The wedding is set to take place in Delhi where both the actors were born. While Kriti eventually moved to Bangalore, Pukit’s family still resides in the national capital.”
It has also been revealed that the couple isn’t keen on a lavish and opulent wedding and wants an intimate affair with only their families and close friends. “Not many Bollywood celebrities will be a part of their D-Day. However, some of their closest peers who have become like family will join the nuptials. Varun Sharma including the other cast members of Fukrey are supposed to fly to Delhi next week,” added the source.
Apart from Pagalpanti, Pulkit and Kriti have appeared in the film Veerey Ki Wedding (2018). They were last seen together in Bejoy Nambiar’s Taish (2020). The lovebirds have never shied away from talking about their relationship and have often been spotted at events and dinner dates and taking vacations together. On this Valentine’s Day, Pulkit and Kriti hinted at their March wedding when they shared love posts for each other on Instagram with cryptic captions. While Kriti wrote, ‘Let’s ‘March’ together’, Pulkit replied, ‘I do’.
Speaking about Kriti, Pulkit had earlier told Bombay Times, “As best friends or companions, we push each other to grow individually in our own lives and focus on work. Both of us are ambitious individuals. We have had our share of slips in our careers, and so we need that constant push. I am lucky to have her in my life as she keeps me grounded and on track. So, right now, that’s what we are doing, just trying to be the best version of ourselves so that we can be even better for each other.”
