Candidates who are willing to work in the government sector can also work after completing BSc in Agriculture. Candidates can opt for grade officer jobs in National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD). There are also numerous opportunities to choose a career in Indian Forest Service (IFS) under UPSC. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) often releases vacancies in the agricultural sector. IBPS SO recruitments are also released for bank jobs.

Candidates can also opt for government jobs in Food Corporation of India (FCI), Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).
