Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) is inviting online applications for the post of lecturer in the government polytechnic colleges of the state. The commission has released a total vacancy of 525 posts for the lecturer and one post for an Assistant Investigative Officer. Interested candidates can apply through the official website of UKPSC–https://ukpsc.net.in/.
The submission of the application form begins today and will conclude on August 12. The selected candidate will be given a salary range of Rs 47,600 to Rs 1,51,100 as per the qualifications and experience. It will also include allowances such as HRA, TA, DA, etc. as applicable.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the recruitment link of the lecturer’s post
Step 3: Register yourself with your basic contact details
Step 4: Access the application form with your registered ID and password
Step 5: Fill out the application form with your required details
Step 6: Upload the necessary documents
Step 7: Pay the required application fee
Step 8: Review, submit and download the application form.
The General category candidates have to pay Rs 222 as a fee to apply while SC and St category applicants have to pay Rs 102 to complete the application process. For Polytechnic Lecturer posts, the candidates must have a graduation or post-graduation degree in the relevant subject.
The age limit of the applicants for this recruitment should be between 21 to 42 years as of July 1, 2024. The age relaxation will be available for the reserved category of the candidates.
The candidates will be selected based on the written exam followed by interview, document verification and medical examination. The commission has not released a detailed notification yet. The expected UKPSC Polytechnic Lecturer Exam Pattern will include the type of questions, marking scheme, sectional weightage and other important instructions.
The written exam will be an objective type exam. The questions will be related to General Awareness, Teaching Aptitude and the candidate’s preferred subject questions. The post of Lecturer is open for subjects like Hindi, English, Physics, Chemistry, Sanskrit, Mathematics, Civics and others.
