The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) will announce the results for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) or the Class 10 exams today, May 9, 2024. It will declared at 10:30 am. Once the results are declared, the students who took the SSLC Class 10 exam can access and download their results by visiting the official website – karresults.nic.in.

Karnataka SSLC Class 10: Pass Percentage Over The Years

As the anticipation of SSLC Class 10 results for this academic year mounts, here’s a glance at the pass percentage of previous academic years.

Last year (2022-2023), SSLC Class 10 board exams took place from March 31 to June 19 and the results were announced on May 8. The overall pass percentage recorded for this year was 83.89 per cent. In the preceding academic year of 2021-2022, the exams were held from March 28 to April 11 and the results declared on May 19, with the total pass percentage of 85.63 per cent. In 2021, an astonishing 99.99 per cent of students cleared the exam.

In 2023, a total of 8,35,102 students appeared for the examination out of which 7,00,619 passed. Chitradurga district secured the highest pass percentage in Karnataka by securing 96.8 per cent, followed closely by Mandya (96.7 per cent) and Hassan (96.6 per cent). The lowest pass percentage districts were Yagir (75.49 per cent), Bidar (78.73 per cent) and Bengaluru South (78.95 per cent).

Once the results are announced, the students can follow these simple steps to check and download their Karnataka SSLC Class 10 Results:

Step 1: Visit the KSEAB’s official website at karresults.nic.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, look for and click on the ‘Karnataka SSLC Result 2024’ link.

Step 3: As a new window opens, enter login credentials. Then click on ‘Submit’.

Step 4: Your Karnataka SSLC Class 10 result will appear on a new screen.

Step 5: Carefully check all the details and download the page.

Step 6: Take a print out for future reference.

This year, the Karnataka SSLC Class 10 examination was held between March 25 and April 6. The board had recently released the answer key for the Karnataka SSLC Exam 2024. However, the last date to raise objections was till April 8.
