Ahead of the start of the 2024 Women's T20 World Cup, here's a look at the top performers and record holders for India in the shortest format megaevent.

The 2024 edition of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup is set to take place in the United Arab Emirates from October 3 to 20. A total of 10 teams will fight against each other for the top prize. The Indian women’s cricket team will open its campaign on October 4 against New Zealand in Dubai and then face arch-rivals Pakistan in the second Group A match in Dubai on October 6. India’s third match against Sri Lanka is also scheduled to take place at the same venue, whereas the last group match is against Australia in Sharjah on October 13.

The Indian women’s team has never managed to win the T20 World Cup title, and under Harmanpreet Kaur’s leadership, it will be desperate to end the long wait this year.
