India vs Bangladesh: 2nd T20I – Live Score

Arshdeep Singh came out to bat in the last over of the Indian innings after Rishad Hossain sent back Varun Chakaravarthy.

Arshdeep smashed the first ball he faced for a maximum as Rishad sent down a flighted delivery. With the ball turning into the left-hander, Arshdeep went down and slog-swept it to the left of deep mid-wicket for a six.

On the very next delivery, Arshdeep Singh was dismissed by Rishad Hossain. The Bangladesh bowler bowled it short and on the middle as Arshdeep got on the back foot quickly for the pull shot but ended up swinging his bat a bit early. The ball took a top edge that went straight up as the keeper Litton Das took a comfortable catch.

Asked to bat, Sanju Samson started the India innings with a couple of boundaries but failed to carry on for long, while Abhishek Sharma and skipper Suryakumar Yadav too did not last long enough as the hosts slipped to 41 for three in the sixth over.

Nitish Reddy (76 off 34 balls) and Rinku Singh (53 off 29 balls) led India’s recovery with a superb partnership of 108 runs for the fourth wicket.

Hardik Pandya then smashed a 19-ball 32 to consolidate India’s innings.
