Thalapathy Vijay-starrer Leo’s trailer is currently gaining immense popularity. It was released yesterday, on October 5. The trailer has generated a lot of anticipation, with fans even speculating about the movie’s plot. There is a scene in it, in which Vijay uses a cuss word. This has not gone down well with his fans. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Leo has received a U/A certification, but the trailer has been given an A certificate. The use of a cuss word by Thalapathy Vijay in the trailer has divided his fans. Some are concerned because the actor has a significant fan base among children and young adults, and they believe this might set a negative example. One fan wrote, “I accept that the t-word should have not been used in the trailer. Already Leo has many issues like the Naa ready song issue. Idk in what mindset Leo team used the t-word in the trailer. I accept it should have been avoided. Rather it could have been in the movie only, as many wouldn’t notice”.

Leo is set to hit theatres on October 19. The Tamil version of the film’s trailer has already garnered an impressive 25 million views on YouTube. The trailer was released at 6:30 PM yesterday. The controversial scene in the trailer shows Vijay engaging in a dialogue with his co-star Trisha Krishnan, where he uses this strong language. This scene also suggests that Vijay might be portraying a dual role in the movie.
Lokesh had previously mentioned that Leo would showcase Vijay in a fresh and distinctive role, sparking anticipation among fans, who are eager to witness their beloved actor in a completely new avatar. The use of a cuss word in the trailer came as a surprise to many, as it was unexpected from the star and not in line with their initial expectations.
